BACKGROUND

About CWC+

CWC+ is an online learning platform built to teach anyone to build and launch iOS apps. The product has seen over 32,000 students since its inception, and I was tasked to redesign the whole platform to make learning from scratch seamless for all kinds of users.

THE VISION

Establish a platform where people can learn to build and launch iOS apps without any guesswork.

The goal of the redesign was to solve a critical issue: students struggled to find their way through course options, repeatedly voicing frustration about not knowing which classes to take next.

THE APPROACH

Clear path from start to finish

This product redesign introduced Launch Your First App, a learning path for students to go from 0 to 100. It teaches all the necessary information under the four pillars of successful iOS apps: foundations, networking, databases, and app store strategy.

A system in place

Style guides and reusable components were created to ensure quick turnaround and adoption.

A specific style guide for thumbnails were designed to allowed the company to release and market new content in record time, without any internal bottleneck. These guides span various media including email and socials.
